Founded 2014
Built for the Mission.
Proven Over Time.
Founded in 2014, Blackbridge Defense was built with a singular focus:
to design and deliver lightweight, mission-driven weapon mounting solutions & vehicle accessories for modern military platforms.
What began as a focused effort to improve crew-served weapon integration has evolved into a trusted partner in mobility and lethality solutions—supporting both conventional and special operations forces.
For over a decade, the mission has remained unchanged:
build systems that work when it matters most.
About Blackbridge Defense
Our Foundation
Blackbridge Defense was established on real-world operational experience and a clear understanding of a critical gap:
Lightweight vehicles were evolving faster than the systems designed to support them.
From day one, the company has focused on:
Reducing weight without sacrificing strength
Increasing modularity across platforms
Delivering adaptable solutions for rapidly changing mission requirements
This foundation continues to drive every system we develop.
How We Got here
Milestones
-

Founded
2014
Blackbridge Defense is established with a focus on crew-served weapon mounting solutions for mobility platforms.
-

Concept to Capability
EARLY DEVELOPMENT
Over the next several years, Blackbridge developed and refined multiple generations of weapon mounting systems. Through continuous prototyping, testing, and operator feedback, the company evolved its designs into the Shadow and Delta families—purpose-built swing arm systems engineered for today's mobility platforms.”
-

Winterwarfare Integration
EXPANSION
Blackbridge expanded its mounting solutions beyond traditional wheeled vehicles with the introduction of specialized systems for snowmobiles and cold-weather mobility platforms. Developed through field testing and operator feedback, these solutions supported mission requirements in some of the world's most demanding environments and validated the adaptability of the platform across diverse operational conditions
-

Scalable System Architecture
SYSTEM EVOLUTION
As operator requirements expanded, Blackbridge evolved from individual weapon mounts to a scalable family of integrated mounting solutions. Supporting FN MAG (M240, L7, C6, MAG 58) and FN Minimi (M249, C9, F89) weapon platforms across multiple vehicle configurations, this milestone marked the transition from standalone products to a modular ecosystem designed for maximum flexibility and mission adaptability.
-

Lightweight Weapon Systems
PRODUCT FAMILY EXPANSION
Years of engineering, testing, and operator-driven development culminated in the introduction of the Shadow Mount System, Delta Mount Weapon System, and Stinger platform. Together, these systems form a scalable family of integrated mounting solutions designed to enhance mobility, lethality, and mission flexibility across tactical, government, and commercial vehicle fleets.
-

Advanced Systems Development
PRESENT
Building on more than a decade of operator-driven innovation, Blackbridge Defense is actively developing next-generation mounting systems, lightweight remote weapon stations for unmanned platforms, and expanded vehicle integration solutions. Supported by a growing network of defense industry partnerships, the company continues to push the boundaries of mobility, lethality, and mission adaptability for future operational environments.

The blackbridge difference
What Sets Us Apart
-
Mission-Driven Design
Every system is built with a clear purpose: to enhance operator effectiveness, safety, and speed in real-world conditions. We don't build for theory — we build for application.
-
Lightweight Without Compromise
Our systems deliver strength where it matters and weight reduction where it counts. Performance across demanding environments is not optional — it's the baseline.
-
Modular & Scalable
From individual mounts to integrated systems, our solutions are designed to adapt across platforms, scale across mission sets, and evolve alongside operational needs.
-
Built on Experience
Grounded in operational insight and engineering discipline. Our team spans mechanical engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and integration — with backgrounds across defense, aerospace, and industrial production.
Looking Forward
Built with intent. Engineered for consequence.
Blackbridge Defense is a U.S.-based designer, engineer, and manufacturer of military-grade weapon mounting solutions & vehicle accessories built for real operational use.
Founded by a Special Operations veteran, Blackbridge Defense was established to address a persistent gap between equipment designed in theory and equipment that must perform under combat conditions. That perspective—earned through direct exposure to modern military operations—continues to shape how we approach every system we design and manufacture.
Our work is driven by disciplined engineering, material accountability, and an understanding that weapon mounts are not accessories—they are mission-critical components. From lightweight swing-arm systems to vehicle and mobility integrations, Blackbridge products are engineered to perform in harsh environments with minimal sustainment and zero tolerance for failure.
Behind every product is a team of experienced professionals across mechanical engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and integration, with backgrounds spanning defense, aerospace, and industrial production. Our capabilities are vertically integrated, allowing us to control design intent through manufacturing execution and deliver consistent, repeatable performance at scale.
Blackbridge Defense supports military, law enforcement, and government partners with solutions that are purpose-built, adaptable, and designed for long-term service. We do not chase trends or shortcuts—our focus remains on building durable systems that reflect the realities of modern operations.
