Founded by a Special Operations veteran, Blackbridge Defense was established to address a persistent gap between equipment designed in theory and equipment that must perform under combat conditions.
Why Blackbridge
Blackbridge Defense pays homage to a mission conducted in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in October 2012.
During a nighttime helicopter infiltration, U.S Army Rangers began movement toward their first target compound. As the element crossed a bridge under the cover of darkness, a catastrophic IED detonated, breaking the silence of the night and altering the mission in an instant.
